Vol. 7 - This volume mostly concentrates on Allan trying to figure out how to get his innocence back so that he can fight the akuma again. He is close but is tiring out and must figure out what it is that is escaping him. Miranda is back, pretty cool and powerful but naive and not understanding her powers or the "job" yet. (3/5)

Vol. 8 - An intense volume full of one main battle as the group (minus Allen) are out to sea fighting an awesome, strong akuma. Lives are almost lost. Then they proceed on to Edo to help General Cross. I really like the new character Cross sent to them with a message, He says he can only stay for so long but I hope he's around for a while. Otherwise, I just can't get into any of the characters. (3/5)

Vol. 9 - Now something is finally happening! I loved this volume! Allen is finally back and his character grows and experiences a profound metamorphosis. I've also got a handle on a few other characters now and am starting have favourites and ones who bug me. I get the plot now too! The Earl has come back as well and he's been missing for so long. He's a weird dude but he really makes the story make sense to me. I love where this is headed and am really looking forward to the next instalment. (5/5) ( )
