Edward Gibbs writes his interactive books with a purpose of informing his readers while allowing them to enjoy a little guessing game as they read. I really enjoyed this book because of three reasons. First, I love the hard back cover, big font and colorful illustrations noticed before even opening the book. The cover alone captures anyone's attention, especially a younger child, without even knowing its an interactive book. I love how the important description words are in bold print throughout the book. And lastly even the inclusion of the speak bubbles with something the animal would "say" to give a hint as to what animal it is. Overall a great book. ( )
