First words
When I began to prepare the first number of this Bulletin no papers were as yet available, nor was there sufficient time to solicit contributions. Except for the brief section on Arabia by Dr. Dostal I had, therefore, to write the whole text myself. The fact that the present number contains contributions by twenty authors and that half a dozen manuscripts have already come in for the third number shows that the Committee's endeavours are meeting with considerable response.
