Rosie finds out that robots can be fun after all. ( )
  Sullywriter | May 22, 2015 |
Summary: Rosie and Rex decided that they wanted to do something fun together, but they aren't quite sure what they want to do exactly yet. Robots aren't fun to Rosie and tea parties are not fun to Rex either. They contemplate together what is fun for them to do.

Evaluation/Argument: Rosie and Rex make this book very fun and enjoyable for young children to read. They imaginations and creative antics keep readers guessing and laughing throughout the story. The characters are very silly and come up with crazy things to do with different objects. For example, Rosie and Rex see an object together and make guesses as to whether or not it is a "super special zippy cup or a fancy robot helmet". Their cleverness together keeps children engaged. The illustrations also add to the story and help to keep the readers engaged in a different way. This book will help kids to start to think outside of the box in regards to the use and purpose of different items as well. Readers will love this book and he friendship that has developed with the characters.
The central message of this book is to value the time you have with your friends and to be creative with one another. Letting a child's mind explore and be creative with one another will help them to mold and shape their mind. Children should be given time to be creative without limits as well. Creativity in a child is important for their development. A child should be using their imagination to explore through play with their friends as well. ( )
