Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0615780504, Paperback)

Will You be My Friend?" is the first book of the Duck Ponder Series. Originally intended to be a reference/photograph book for the author's granddaughters, this book metamorphosed into a message of respecting the differences in others. Based on the second greatest commandment to love your neighbor as yourself, Jack, the Pekin duck, narrates; introducing the reader to a vast variety of fowl friends and illustrating Jesus' example of love and kindness throughout these pages. Photographing the wildlife that reside behind her Franklin, Tennessee home initiated a journey that lead this author to demonstrate God's love in a way that touches the hearts of children and adults alike in each page and image of this series. Be still and "ponder" the wonderment that God's creatures share through out this delightful book. Included on the last page of each Duck Ponder Series book is a life application page entitled "Quack with Jack". Jack's brief questionnaire evokes the reader to integrate the message as their own.
