Under the influence of the Goddess Athena Efimius an ancient Greek has saved the city many times using time travel. He sends Phevos his son and his( adopted Daughter) Daphne on a mission. They end up in Modern Day Athens where they meet Ksenia and Manos( who are brother and sister also)They work together on the mission and find themselves in the middle of two feuding Gods. An orginal story. I liked all the characters. I loved how the author mixed time travel and mythology. A real page turner, filled with twists , turns and secrets revealed. ( )

The Necklace of Goddess Athena by Effrosyni Moschoudi

Efimios an ancient Greek is under the influence of the Goddess Athena. Using time travel he has saved the city many times. He sends his son Phevos and his (adopted daughter) Daphne on a mission. They end up in modern day Athens and meet Ksenia and Manos(who are also brother and sister). The four of them work together on the mission and find themselves in the middle of two feuding Gods.

A very original story. I liked all four of the young characters. I loved how Effrosyni Moschoudi mixed mythology with time travel. The story was a page turner, filled with some twists, turns and secrets revealed. I truly loved The Necklace of Goddess Athena from the first page until the last! ( )

Imaginative and interesting. I've not read anything quite like it. Time traveling teens watch for signs to help them find the reason and solution for them suddenly being thrust from ancient Greece into modern times in Athens. ( )
