Liv and Danny... What can I say about these two? In Being Human we got their story of finding love, losing it and then finding it again... Only for it all to fall apart again. The beginning of their story was sweet and heartbreaking. Now we get to see them try to find what they lost twice already.

We get to go through Liv's struggle of trying not to believe what she knows to be true. She has her mind set on things being what she has made them out to be. But she cannot deny her love for Danny will continue to eat her alive. She is heartbroken and lost. She wants Danny back but just can't let go of her anger.

At the same time, we get to watch Danny do everything in his power to win her back and get her to see that he has always loved her and things were never how she thought they were. When most men would have given up and walked away, he has given up his life to be with her. He will do whatever it takes to show his love for her and to get her to let her guard down enough to allow her love for him to take over.

This book is an emotional roller coaster. It is a page turner. The emotions in this book are real and raw. From the self-deprecation to the heartwarming mushy parts, this book has it all. Every woman wants a man to fight for her like Danny does. That is not to say that everything is perfect in this book, but I can promise that the ending you get in this book will leave you with a gushing heart and big smile. ( )

3.5 " Just not my style" stars. This was a really great story just not suspenseful enough for me. A little too sweet and just plain ordinary at times. I can see how many would love it but it's just not for me. The hottness between Danny and Liv was the only thing that kept me reading. I absolutely love passionate sex scenes when love and emotions are involved and there was plenty of that! Nice story but not my style. ( )

The first book was a cliff hanger but I wanted to wait a bit to digest before I dove into "Still Human" . It didn't go how I thought it would that's for sure. Liv is one stubborn chick and frankly I wanted to beat her ass for at least half of the book. Now Danny wasn't without his faults but for some reason his didn't really seem like a big deal and certainly not as much as Liv was making them out to be. It was heart wrenching the first half of the book because these two just couldn't work it out. When there was finally a crack in the wall Liv had constructed things started to come together. The events in the second half were Fabulous, Danny is really the man of any woman's dreams. There's a side story with Jen (Danny's best friend) that is heart breaking and wonderful as well. Lots and lots of hot steamy juicy sex. Fantastic ending. ( )
