The Duke of Devonshire has written this short book about his long and varied life. He was born in 1920 and came into the dukedom in 1950. He lived at Chatsworth House and was married to Debo,Duchess of Devonshire,the last surviving Mitford girl.
He gives a well-rounded and at times humorous picture of his life,telling the bad as well as the good,and comes over as a rather likable character. ( )
