This is a cute book. I generally like books with Scots in them, not sure why, but I've never read one that was truly awful. Maybe it's just a genre that works. Welfonder is a good writer, and her writing style sets the atmosphere for the book. Amicia and Magnus are both developed well, and the mystery was clever enough that I didn't figure out who it was until the very end! Cute book. (
