I have been reading a few shorts and one deliciously heavy kink story (which I can only read 50 pages or so of at a time) and Sam, Luke and company slipped in perfectly. It was so easy to get invested in the entire crew. Ms. Sunday's books always hit the mark but this one was just a little bit more. Highly recommend. ( ) 2019/5/1 3,8 stars I think this was my third time reading this book, and I had convinced myself that this was pretty non-smutty and sweet. And to a point, that's true. However, I had completely forgotten what a horny bastard Luke is. That's the one thing I didn't really like about the story, this time around. And not really that Luke was horny, just that his unrequited feelings were mostly portrayed through him boning up willy-nilly like a teenager. I much more prefer pining of the emotional variety, which I get is what this book aims at. Just a personal preference, mayhaps. The characters were still as lovely as ever, as was the family dynamic. I still consider Jeremy one of the most well written teenagers I've come across in recent years - so selfish, but still considerate toward his family where it counts. -------- 2016/8/20 3,75 stars I've been sliding back into a bit of reading slump, so I browsed through my Kindle books for something short and sweet that I enjoyed the first time around. This is what I ended up with. This book's a pretty warm and fuzzy one, with very real characters and a lovely sense of family. It perfectly portrays the selfishness of youth even in the "good kids", it shows how hard it is to risk getting hurt, how easy it is to settle for "okay" when achieving "amazing" would mean risking getting burned. All in all, this book is pretty lovely, if not the literary masterpiece of the decade. Original review: The last book by Anyta Sunday I've read didn't work for me, so I was kinda wary of this one. But! Taboo For You was fluffy, easy, low on angst and full of UST. Just what I needed and I loved it :) Re-read 07/2021: Nothing really changed for me - my impression is still that it's fluff done just right and full of delicious UST :) no reviews | add a review

Sam's freaking out. He's 30 in three weeks. And what has he done in his twenties? It's pretty simple math: nothing exciting at all. But hey, he has three weeks right? Maybe that's just enough time to tick his way through a 20s Must Do List . . . Luke's freaking screwed. He's come out to his family, and his friends. Except there's a certain someone who doesn't know yet: his neighbor of 7 years. Who also happens to be his best friend. Who Luke needs to tell the truth, but he just . . . can't . . . seem to . . .Jeremy's freaking over-the-moon. It's the countdown to his 15th birthday, and his goal is simple. No matter what, he's going to spend heaps of time with saucy Suzy. But first he needs to get his over-protective, no-girlfriend-'cause-you'll-get-her-pregnant parents off his back. And what better way than pretending he's gay? Sam, Luke, and Jeremy. Three guys who have a lot of history together, and a lot of future too--well, if they can sort out their issues, that is.
