A really good film. I've not read the book (yet) and can't speak to its merits as an adaptation, but as a film viewed on its own it's both an emotional and interesting story I was very happy to get to watch. ( )

Although, as in the case of most movies, the video isn't exactly like the book, it was an very good job. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but as in the case of most movies based on a book, you owe it to yourself to read the book first, otherwise you will not get the full story. Books and videos are not the same, time, special effects, and so forth, force changes, and then there is the studio. I have read the book several times, recommend it to others and now I also recommend the video.
