The Princess Bride, Meet the Robinsons, 10 Things I Hate About You, T ... ... jeugdboeken aan het lezen, maar als ik ze lees, lees ik ze vaak "tussendoor", in 1 of 2 dagen uit. Ik heb recentelijk wel Matilda gelezen, die was leuk. ... mooching some of my old favorites to give to my niece. I was thinking The Island of the Blue Dolphins, Roald Dahl's Matilda, and The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin.

September 18, 1984: One by one, Matilda examined the 13 clocks in the drawing room of the Professor’s House. Could the secret history behind the professor's experiements involving the moonstone finally be revealed? Why not try out The Double Fudge Dare then? And Matilda has a couple good cake scenes... Or there's always 100 Pounds of Popcorn... Does anyone not like Matilda?
I think it's very hard not to like it and it IS a novel :) ... that rhymes with witch! You might be mixing it up with another Roald Dahl, The Witches.
Definitely read the book, Matilda. The movie is great, but so is the book, and it has a lot more depth as books always do. ... are probably Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume (or it was when I was six, I haven't read it in awhile), Matilda by Roald Dahl, My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George, Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli, and most of all The Giver by Lois Lowry.
