As soon as I finished reading Shattered I tweeted Tracy Wolff and let her know that she broke me. There were a few times where tears slipped out, and others when I couldn’t hold the tears in. It’s taken me a few days to write this review because it’s hard to put into words the love I have for this story, and these characters.
In Shredded I always thought Ash was overbearing. I know he was just trying to keep his friends in line, but I thought he needed to relax a little. I still think he needs to relax a little after his world is turned upside down. He has a tense relationship with his brother. I like how they go back and forth with each other, and how Logan isn’t scared to tell his brother how he feels. I freaking ADORE Tansy. She’s not afraid to take chances after finding out she’s in remission. She has no idea why Ash effects her, but he does. I love her relationships with her siblings, especially Anna. She’s a freaking riot.
There is so much heartbreak and pain within the pages of Shattered. There are also hilarious, and embarrassing moments. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a character blush as much as Tansy. :D I love the way Wolff weaves the stories between her characters. Nothing goes unnoticed, and you want to root for them from the beginning.

I highly suggest this series to everyone. I can’t wait for the next one.

“I had my whole future mapped out. I knew what I was going to be doing and where I was going to be doing it for years to come. And fate came along and basically gave me a big, giant fuck you. And you know what, it was rough.” ( )

Ash Lewis is the all good guy, who knows what he wants and works for it. He wants to be on the Olympie's Snowboarding Team. On the day that he makes it, his whole world comes crashing down all around him. He loses his parents and almost loses his little brother. After all of this he just starts shutting down.

Tansy Hampton is a chick that has had a tough teenage life by being in and out of hospitals, never knowing what is going to happen to her. Til one day she gets the news that everything is okay for now. So now she is helping others live out their dreams while they can.

Tansy is on a mission to help a boy live out his dying wish, which is to meet Ash Lewis. The sparks are flying so high when they first meet, that you think everything will go up in flames, including the book. When Ash is tricked into helping the boy make his wish come true, by his little brother and his friends. This is when things really start heat up between Ash and Tansy that it could melt the snow. The only thing is that Tansy never tells him her story, even after he tells her his. Once he finds out the truth will he be able to handle it or will he let her go?

I don't think anymore, I will be adding Tracy Wolff to my favorite author's list now. I absolutely loved this book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I hope it's Cam's and Luc's story. I can't wait to see what happens to them. I highly recommend this book to others. I will most definitely be re-reading this series. ( )

Awesome!! I'm almost speechless about this book. It deals with some pretty heavy subjects but does it in a way that leaves you hopeful and wanting more. These characters are wild, colorful, and life loving but at one time or another everyone deals with issues that can either shatter them or make them stronger. This is a story about coming out stronger on the other side. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend this book to everyone. ( )

It took me a couple of days after reading to try and come up with the words to describe the experience.
I'm not a writer, so I'm not sure if I can put it into words, but I sure love to read.

With this book Tracy Wolff became my favorite author - hands down, no question.
She is a master at her craft.

I truly thought Shredded was the best book I've ever read, but Tracy Wolff created another masterpiece with Shattered. I just bought all her other books and can't wait to dive in, now that I know Shredded was not a fluke.

I'm sorry if I sound like a 14 year old girl who just spotted One Direction....but I've never encountered books like these. The perspective changes back and forth between Ash and Tansy with each chapter. But that is not jarring or distracting at all. Instead it makes you feel like you are experiencing the events from both people's perspectives.
The writing is so masterful that you experience each and every emotion. And it is heart wrenching.
There's nothing easy about the characters' lives, and yet it's not a pity party.
Each character is a unique person with individual thoughts and feelings, and a lot of strength. The chemistry between Ash and Tansy is smoking hot.
And even when someone behaves like a jerk, you are in their head, or they are in your head, so you feel you are experiencing everything yourself.

My heart was pounding the whole time I was reading. It's the most amazing book and Tracy Wolff is the most amazing writer. ( )
