This is a great book for younger kids that may be having some tough time doing things that they think they should be doing. From tying shoes to making the bed and even brushing teeth, this will show kids that they can do it by them selves with practice. Genre, contemporary realistic fiction. ( )

This was a great book for a young child. I loved the simple yet very colorful illustrations. This book would make learning fun!

Left and right, letters and numbers, shoe-tying, and teeth-brushing. These and more are displayed on brightly-colored pages as things than can be done or known by a child. Images are a combination of photos, realia (tiny dolls and toys), and cut paper.

It's cute, and simple, and affirming, and (bonus!) it starts out with "I know my left," and it shows a leftie writing! Righties appear equally, but left-handed children will enjoy seeing themselves first for a change!
