This is a cute book, but it's definitely for younger kids. I think it would be better for kids to use this as a silly bedtime story before they start school. It would be better for children under the age of 6 ( )

A baby donkey asks a baby monkey what "it" is for and what it does. Is it for calling? No. Is it for wearing? No. (Etc.) "It's a book, silly!"

A smaller version of It's A Book with enough variation to be worth reading both. (And for those who are concerned about language, this one does not include the word "jackass.") ( )

I loved this book, because it almost shows the readers that there is nothing you can do with a book, but at the same time you can look at it as something that you can enjoy without doing anything with it.
