This book's focus in on the major prophets of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel. Among the many things observed, the one that is most outstanding is God's relentless MERCY - toward a stiffed neck, recalcitrant and rebellious people. Over and over again God visits his people via his chosen ones, the prophets (who themselves suffer severely as God's chosen instrument). He repeatedly pleads with them to return to their God, and to show forth lives of holiness and devotion to God. God shows not only that he is interested in Israel but in all nations that they should be saved and have a full and abundant life. His anger does flare but it is always out of love. no reviews | add a review
