Intrigue I have been enjoying the Clifton Chronicles series, but I found this one a bit too predictable. Still an interesting story line and I enjoyed the book. The characters in the series are interesting, although I do find the female characters to be somewhat one-dimensional even though they are often portrayed as strong, successful women. Five books down and the series is still going strong. This installment is as engaging and as entertaining as the previous ones. Though some of the twists are predictable and the plotting of Cliftons' enemies feel repetitive, there is no denying that Archer's writing is tremendous fun and I'm enjoying every bit of it. no reviews | add a review
