Very funny , a jaded, city, English, book - reviewer decides to migrate to (very) rural France. He buys a dilapidated half renovated farm house and tries to fit in with the community. He tells of his adventures with a cat , assorted hens and a gang of rare breed sheep.
Full of anecdotes about rural life, the difference between the French and English social mores, flying and general gentle mayhem.
Great fun. ( )
