****SPOILERS****

Very well researched.
Brilliant portrayal of the world of oncology.
A clever spin: both Hxh have cancer.

The 3 Main Characters:
The Couple: the hero and his childhood-sweetheart-love-of-his-life-whom-he-adores…aka the ow, Morgan.
The heroine, Keri.

The Bottom Line: and the top line (is there even such a thing?)and 1 of the main plot devices, (there are MANY others which I’m not addressing here, and the beginning and ending of their story and everything in between, is:
The Romance
Between him and the ow
How MUCH he loves and adores the ow
The flowery balloony romantic gestures
How MUCH he loves the ow
Their closeness and sharing
How MUCH he loves the ow
How they both can’t move on
His patience, caring, understanding, gentleness and thoughtfulness wrt her
How he cheats on her by getting emotionally involved with the h
How MUCH he loves the ow
He tells EVERYONE this - Over and Over. Riiiight until just before the end of the
How he will ALWAYS love the ow
How the only reason H and ow aren’t together is because she broke up with him

The Hxh:
Not much going on here:
They’re attracted to each other
Have lots in common
They make NO commitment to each other during the book, until the very end
They are NEVER a couple – until the verrrry last

The Title:
Spot on.
There’s definitely no clear, visible love between the hxh.
Strong feelings born from the solidarity-in the-face-of-our-pain-and-no-one-else-gets-me-like-you-do kinda thing, yes, but certainly nothing concrete.
