I really enjoyed this book. It had tons of twists and turns that will keeping you turning page after page until the very end. This book is about second chance and how it brings a past life to the present in a unique way with a mystery stalker on the side. How do you right a wrong or maybe it wasn’t? Only your heart can tell you. I loved the roller coaster ride however as I was coming toward the end of my ride I didn’t know if it was going end how I wanted. I will be waiting for the next book. Galen maybe? I loved this quote from the book will be adding to my GR profile. “From childhood you have been everything to me,” he whispered. “Only now, more so. For all of eternity, you will be here, Shemei. ( )

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0991101707, Paperback)

Hidden memories. Buried secrets. Resurrected revenge. Psychologist Lottie Morgan knows something is wrong when she relives memories of a lover she's never had. At first she attributes them to fever-induced dreams. But when the fever disappears and the visions don't, Lottie realizes something else is going on. Then she meets Galen. Their first encounter is as intense as it is eye-opening, and his revelation that they shared a passionate relationship thousands of years ago in ancient Egypt entices Lottie into wanting to learn more about her past. Her decision, however, comes at a price. Galen may hold the answers but he could destroy the devoted, lifelong relationship Lottie has with her current lover, David. It also could mean her death-again. Someone is protecting millennia-old secrets, determined to keep them buried while exacting a revenge on Lottie for a mistake made a very long time ago. A mistake she could be destined to repeat. Take a trip to mysterious ancient Egypt, where Lottie becomes caught between two lifetimes, two men, and long-buried deceptions. Hank Phillippi Ryan, Agatha, Anthony and Macavity-winning author, calls this paranormal suspense about reincarnation and finding your soul mate "Inventive, original and thought-provoking; this mystically romantic mystery will instantly intrigue." WiLoveBooks on this psychic mystery and getting a second chance: “Riveting…had trouble putting the book down.” The Reading Café calls this historical, vengeful suspense: “Fast paced, well-written…amazing.” Hesperia Loves Books about this metaphysical romance: “evocative, sensual, engaging…thoroughly addictive.” Book Chick City: “A great read…a fabulous balance between paranormal and mystery.”

Psychologist Lottie Morgan knows something is wrong when she starts reliving memories of a lover she's never had. At first, she attributes them to fever-induced dreams. But when the fever disappears and the visions don't, Lottie thinks she may need therapy of her own. Then she meets Galen. Their first encounter is as intense as it is eye-opening, and Lottie is unprepared for the fire Galen arouses in her. His revelation that they shared a passionate relationship thousands of years ago explains the memories and entices Lottie into wanting to learn more about her past. Her decision, however, comes at a price. Galen may hold the answers but he could destroy the devoted, lifelong relationship Lottie has with her current lover, David. As parallels between both of her lives emerge and the memories escalate, Lottie becomes caught between two lifetimes, two men, and long-buried deceptions that present an opportunity to right previous wrongs. Unless Lottie repeats her past mistakes. Sensuality Level: Sensual "If you had the chance to do it over - what would you do? Inventive, original and thought-provoking, this mystically romantic mystery will instantly intrigue fans of MJ Rose and Michelle Moran." --Hank Phillippi Ryan, Agatha, Anthony and Macavity-winning author of The Other Woman "From Lottie's psychology practice to David's elite commando team, from modern military operations to ancient kingdoms in the Sahara, In This Life brings together evocative mysteries and fascinating lovers who should never have met . . . nor parted." --Laurie Schnebly Campbell, author of Wrong Twin, Right Man "A wonderful read! In This Life gives the reader an intricate weaving of brilliantly evocative memories of ancient Egypt and hard choices that have to be made in the present. A compelling look into the hearts and souls of the characters. --Jenny Andersen, author of Loving Luke and Reckless Promise "An awesome story that ties love and passion in the modern world to past lives in ancient Egypt. It's so suspenseful, in so many ways, that I had to stop reading to give myself time to calm down - and then I picked it right up again and kept going till the end. Can't wait for more from Terri Herman-Ponce!" --Barbara Monajem, award-winning author of Sunrise in a Garden of Love and Evil and Tastes of Love and Evil… (more)
