Enter ex French military Colonel Jacques Barbosa and his partner Hendrik ‘Dutch’ Palese. Destination Ethiopia; to find Ato Kahlil, an ex-special forces soldier who has been tasked with surveillance of two rogue soldiers.
Vying for Jacques attention are Claire Moser an MI6 rogue agent and ex-wife Elizabeth Mallory, a world renowned concert pianist; both women are congenial liars, but which one is telling the truth?

Discovering the train has been divided into two, the team decide to split up, Dutch follows the locomotive north, with one new attachment - the old presidential carriage. Inside Ato has positioned a kidnap victim, Kadista a woman intent on keeping her own secrets.
