the story is great for teaching the children the alphabets and it is great for connecting words to each letter and how if we take away a letter it will turn into a different word which emphasizes the importance of each letter in the word.

An alphabet book that takes a different approach. Each letter is presented in a word that when you take away a letter, it turns into another word. A sort of short story is created with each change.

In this book, every page takes away a letter and changes a word.

This book shows children the order of the ABC's and the importance each letter plays in changing a word or the meaning of a word. The book is humorous and the illustrations show the examples very well. This would be good for kindergarten.

I loved the illustration in this book. This is an alphabet book that as it works it's way through each letter of the alphabet it takes a word that contains the letter and then transforms the same word into something new by removing that one letter. It's a great way book when working on writing, spelling, and reading. A good book for 2nd or 3rd graders. ( )

What an interesting book about the alphabet! It was great! It was an ABC book for an older child! My 7 yo totally understood it. She would put her finger of the letter to see the word that it makes without the letter. It was interesting to her and I could tell that it made something "click" in her head. She understood how the letters make up words just a little more. I would definitely add this book to my classroom library!
