This had to have been the most poorly written and unedited work longer than 2 pages in length that I have ever read. I chose it because it purported to be a decent work about homelessness in the eyes of one woman. Dear God. I am so glad that the homeless around here like this particular Pollyanna are few and far between. She made it sound like she did quite a bit to help herself and her very spoiled "angel", but she just plain didn't do enough. She sure blamed others for not caring, despite the fact that they bent over backwards within their boundaries to accommodate her. Mistakes can be made. She didn't see it that way. She made sure that, if she hadn't gotten legal counsel and in that way presented a threat, that there were agencies out there who would never have helped her. It's people like her, weeping and wailing in whiny voices all over the place, that make it difficult for the rest of them.

I know people like her. They need a swift kick in the can to get them moving. They also need a class in spelling and grammar. Additionally, they need to step up to the world of professionalism. She hasn't done any of that.

What did I get out of this one? It helped me understand the mindset of those few who dare end up down here with a princess-like behaviour.

I won't be reading Journey 2, and I am thankful beyond belief that I didn't have to pay a penny for the first one. ( )
