Now that I have my primary negatuve criticism of the rest of the story out of the way, I found it an interesting read after the first part. I still say, after reading the rest, that the first part sucked sewer water. What I like about the rest of it was that it could easily have been the truth, rather than fiction. There are parts where you ask yourself, "Did it really happen the way I'd been told since childhood, or did it happen THIS way?" It could have happened this way. It was a good story after the first third. Really, it didn't even need the first third. ( )
