I won a copy of this book from LibraryThing, in exchange for an honest review.

“Atlantis Pyramids Floods: Did Noah’s Flood Destroy Atlantis and Damage the Pyramids?” by Dennis Brooks is a fascinating look at a rather startling set of ‘coincidences’ strongly suggesting that Atlantis is not a myth. The short answer to the titular question is, “Yes”, according to Dennis Brooks. That is not a spoiler.

“Atlantis Pyramids Floods” presents an enticing discussion of archaeologic, geologic, historic, cosmic and other facts which support Brooks’ conviction that 1) there was a real, global, catastrophic flood; which 2) coincided with destruction of the continent/island/nation/city called Atlantis; and 3) caused significant damage to the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids on Egypt’s Giza Plateau. Brooks submits compelling evidence from numerous sources to document his stance, and that is where the book gets really fun.

Liberally sprinkled throughout the book are links to various websites with further information relevant to Brooks’ statements. Following those links should enable readers to access a mountain of similar websites of interest. Brooks is careful to explain that he is not trying to convince people of his theory. Rather, his intent is to spark a general interest in the story of Atlantis. His desire is to see Atlantis restored to its place in scientific endeavor, out of the realm of mythology.

Regardless of your present beliefs, interest, and/or knowledge about Atlantis, you will be spellbound by the plethora of information Brooks presents in this succinct book. It is sure to intrigue most people, in my opinion. Check it out. ( )
