"Flashlight" is a wordless book about a little boy who is camping out in his backyard. When it gets dark, he takes his flashlight out of his tent to explore the dark world around him. You really have to use your observation skills to completely enjoy this very well illustrated picture book.

This wordless picture book helps to bring illumination to the dark woods, with the flashlight's beam picking out peaceful and beautiful nocturnal creatures going about their normal business in the dark. it would be fun to show this book to a class and ask them what they expect to see in the dark and then what they actually see.
