Unlike most embroidery books this one gives directions for both left and right-handed people for each technique or project..
My wife rates this book above nearly all other embroidery books and is using it now. Photos and illustrations are excellent. According to my wife, the instructions are equally excellent. The book has both a contents and an index. Most of the book is devoted to projects and techniques.
There is a map of the Island of Sardina and photos of places there, along with the local history. After photos of the different styles of the embroidery from that region the author goes into techniques and projects. ( )
