Book description

After the events of THE CRYSTAL GRYPHON, Kerovan returns to Lord Imgry's army to be sent as an envoy to the Waste, seeking allies (and attempting to break off his relationship with Joisan for her sake). Meanwhile, the refugees of Ithdale having been settled in Norsdale, Joisan sets out into the Waste in search of Kerovan and has her own adventures.
