Keren's wonderful childhood friendship with Jared is torn apart by abuse and she feels she is at fault for Jared's serious injuries. Scarred by the tragedy, she passes on her anxieties to her son. When she seeks help, she discovers her former friend has created a play that memorializes in painstaking detail their childhood adventures. At first angry, she soon realizes how effective his program is when her son reacts in a postive manner. Keren must accept her own blamelessness before she can heal her relationship with Jared. ( )
