What is a plant, parts of the plant, what they need, fun facts, how to help your garden, what kinds of seeds we have. ( )

This books talks about how plants become plants. From seed pollination to plant formation. It has great pictures and it gets readers wanting to do gardening. The words are simple and great for students that are beginning to read appropriate for preschool to 2nd grade. It is an informational book that has little jokes on the side and words that children can read themselves. The photographs and the non-fiction format of the book makes children notice the difference between a picture book and a non-fiction book. Great book to have in a classroom library. ( )
