69 of 75 for 2015. Another gay harlequin, this time with a Werewolf/shapeshifter theme. CIA wolf Rowan is given the assignment of stopping assassin Elijah without knowing anything about the man he's after except that, apparently, he, too, is a wolf/man shifter. Rowan is NOT gay. He goes through women like toilet paper, and apparently treats them as poorly. When he meets Elijah, there is something more there than just one killer meeting another. Something intangible, but still very real, very hard to deny. Will Rowan kill Elijah? Will Elijah kill Rowan? Will human werewolf hunters kill both of them with silver bullets and wolfbane? Will the Old Ones, living apart from humankind in the forests of eastern Europe accept them or kill them? There's a lot of potential death in this book, and no end of possible killers. There's plenty of graphic violence for those who appreciate that, and more than a little male on male (very) graphic sex. And since this is the first in the Lost Wolves series, there's a cliff hanger to bring you back for more. Not what I would call great literature, but definitely a fun read if you like vulpine shape shifters and hot, hunky men who like other hot hunky men. ( )
