When I was eleven, I heard Elder Stahl tell marvelous stories of the change that came to the Indians when they received the gospel. My childish heart was thrilled especially by the story of a group of Indians who needed a teacher so badly that they had begged him to let his twelve-year-old son go with them to be their missionary. A boy my own age! From that day on I wanted to be with Elder Stahl in his mission work. Nor was I alone in this desire. Hundreds of young people all over the United States and Europe
