I was disappointed in this book. The book itself covers very little about the vampire's life and more about the human people he comes into contact with. Which is a shame because the main character is someone I would have liked the author to tell more about. There are 3 stages. The first covers the main character before he becomes a vampire, the 2nd mainly covers a doctor in Haiti, and the last covers a young girl in present time. It left me wanting to know more about the vampire. ( )
