Loading... Fast Foodby Saxton Freymann (Author/Illustrator), Joost Elffers (Author/Illustrator)
None. Like the other book I've read by this pair, it was illustrated using food and what I can only assume are craft scissors. Unlike the othe book that I read by them, this was tol in rhyming verse and was all about travel as opposed to dogs. In either case, the illustrations are really well done and the book is worth a look just to see what they can do with food these days. ( )Super cute, kids get to guess what everything is made out of. Simple rhyming text, guessing the veggies was super fun. Kindergarten students find this extremely humorous. One student told me he had seen the characters in the book on TV (maybe he saw veggie tales?) There is a poem inside the cover of the book that can be read before starting the book. I read it through pretty quickly, then went back and asked students to identify the veggies. Freymann's clever vegetable sculptures delight the eye and tickle the funny bone. I love this book! all sort of transportation, all made out of fruits and vegetables. The bus is great and so is the wheelchair. CMB no reviews | add a review
