This was a good primer on embracing a more complete Christianity, and one I think allows for your growth from those that would cling to a more conservative, evangelical perspective as well as those that would fall into the more liberal, socially active perspective.

There is much work to be done on both sides in working together as a body, as Christ's bride, not only for our sakes, but also the sake of the world. If we claim to have the Good News, this is what should be prevalently evident in our actions, not division, bigotry and hatred. There are many issues brought up in this that explain how simple this actually is if we'll just all humble ourselves. Of course, this is easier said than done, but it's exciting to know their are authors out there seeking to understand and communicate to many people. ( )
