Finished Hattie Big Sky this weekend. Was listening to it in the car, and then started Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. I enjoyed listening to American Gods so hope this one is just as good. I started reading a young adult novel Hattie Big Sky this weekend because I finished reading Zorro by Isabel Allende. I also finished reading Blue Highways yesterday and I have to say that I loved this book. Even though it was first published back in 1982, for a book that I purchased twice I ... Montana

It's a teen book about a girl who is an orphan, but finds out that a relative has left her a homestead in Montana which will be hers to keep if she can meet the requirements. It's set during WWI and that plays an important part in the story. I really enjoyed it. 26. Montana - Hattie Big Sky fiction

I just read Hattie Big Sky and I loved it! Hattie was such a great character and I was really rooting for her to make a go of her homestead. I'm hoping there's another book coming about her.
