I usually enjoy this series but "The Real Man of Steel" was disappointing. Two-dimensional characters with no plot development at all. Book starts Lex Luthor in his special steel battle suit challenging Superman to a final battle. Then the battle proceeds for. the. entire. book. That's it. One big battle scene, until, one of them is beaten. The end. ( )
