I really liked this book a lot. One thing I enjoyed was how it teaches the reader what patterns are and shows different types of patterns. For example, it tells the reader that patterns are made from repeating shapes, colors, and numbers. It then states that hockey uniforms have color patterns. I also liked the pictures throughout the book. They were real life pictures that helped the reader understand the game of hockey better. For example there was pictures of players, hockey pucks and sticks, and even referees. The main theme of this book is to teach the reader about patterns as well as teach the reader about the game of hockey. ( )
