This was a fun read. It was fun to see what two girls do when they think they have given a guy a love potion. Great novella. I received this ebook from Barbour publishing for a fair and honest opinion. ( )

Cute Romance!

This novella takes place in the Ozark Mountains, Arkansas in the year 1870, on Christmas Eve.

Maddie Sinclair is in love with Harlan Calhoun. She will go to great lengths to get Harlan to love her back. Maddie comes up with an excellent idea in which to make that happen. After she puts her plan in place she immediately regrets the decision she made. Is this decision reversible?

Harlan Calhoun secretly adores Maddie Sinclair. He hopes to ask her to marry him soon. So, he sets out to put his plan in place. He doesn’t know about Maddie’s plan but he does know she is acting a little strange around him. She seems a little nervous. What is up with Maddie?

This was a delightful story. I really enjoyed it.

Author Amy Lillard has a gift for storytelling. I have read all of her Amish fiction novels. I am looking forward to reading more of her books in the future. ( )
