Ms. Rose tells us her story in an honest way. She gives insights into having cancer and broaches subjects that are personal and important. However, she also gives us real insight in what it is like to be a 19 year old woman in today's culture. Hers is a real slice of life read that anyone from Wisconsin will identify with. Teri wrote the story in the attitude of a 19 year old party girl and showed us her growing and maturing. The contrast between her feelings as a girl and those of her adult feelings should be better contrasted, but it was a good read. ( )
