Disambiguation notice
Often attributed to Robert WIlson on the basis of its title's similarity to Wilson's 'Cobler's Prophecy' but the style is utterly dissimilar to Wilson's. I suppose it's not inconceivable that it was written by one of his Leicester's Men or Queen's Men colleagues as a sort of companion piece to Cobler's Prophecy -- perhaps by John Laneham who is known to have written for the stage but all of whose work is lost -- but Martin Wiggins confidently dates it to the 1560s. before the Queen's or Leicester's were formed and when Wilson probably was still a boy..
