But he has to be very careful and not scare her away. Chloe is happy now helping young girls in distress and threatened with scandal, she know's all about that scenario and had no one to turn to. She can see her son, he's a grown man now, and of cause Dominic. She's always felt safe when he was around and her feelings for him have become very different, he's so big and handsome, he keeps making her feel all a flutter. Can she resist him, should she? For a novella this story really has a big punch to it. The two main characters had so much chemistry together it was wonderful. The pages crackled and sizzled with the love scenes, and the romance and love was obvious between then. Chloe and Dominic finally achieved their happy ever after and I wanted to cheer for their good fortune. (silly me) And now I eagerly await the next heartwarming and also thrilling story in The Renegade Royals series by the amazing author Vanessa Kelly. I can hardly wait. The story of Domonic Hunter and Chloe Steele gives more background into the lives of those royals born to others.
Griffin Steel features heavily along with Justine.
We find out the story behind Chloe's disappearance, and are treated to the torturous sight of Domonic and Chloe circling around each other as their love, one that has survived more than 14 years, is tentatively declared and at last consummated.
The force of these three vibrant personalities; of the determined Chloe, the powerful Domonic in full protection mode and the compelling Griifin are brought into relief and fully displayed as their stories rub against each other. The support they offer each other is not to be sold short.
