This book is a good example of contemporary fantasy fiction. I would call it a contemporary because of the setting and characters within the book. However it has a fantasy flair due to the not quite talking penguins and some of the animals presented in the book. It is a great lift-the-flap book that helps teach opposites. It is certainly intended for younger readers. Media: Computer generated artwork.
