Jock's art on the Losers is terrific - visually the covers and layouts are an art form in themselves. Unfortunately as a continuous read (from the Vertigo series) it doesn't come across very well in terms of the storytelling - feeling very jumpy and chaotic in comparison to the work they did on Lenny Zero for 2000AD. In fact I thought the film (although savaged by reviewers at the time) did a better job of making sense of the plot of the first arc than the comic does. Still a solid, entertaining read nonetheless.
