A student orders a lobster at a restaurant. His conscience bothers him over the suffering that had been caused to the lobster which in turn leads him to asurprising conclusions and on a strange adventure. A young man finds himself responsible for a terrible act. He needs to ask for forgiveness and atone for his sins by resorting to drastic means. A singer who has known great success in the past, finds an original way to revive his dying career. These are some of the characters in a collection of short stories, in which the protagonists find surprising, and even absurd, ways to deal with the challenges life throws at them. ( )
