Ugh, this is like the MRA version of the subsequent volume of this new female X-men squad written by Willow Wilson. Guggenheim thinks he is applying his pick-up tactics soooooo smoothly but it is creaky and cringeworthy to witness. "Guess which spunky teen's granddad is courtly and old-fashioned! Guess which granddad is getting murdered in a pointlessly, aggressively, masculinely visceral way by Shi'ar! Guess who's pregnant!" no reviews | add a review

But are even the X-Men equipped to handle the horrific new threat that's emerged from the edge of space? Monstrosities called the "Genespliced" - creatures engineered from the fiercest alien races across the galaxy - threaten S.W.O.R.D.'s orbital base, but as the X-Men explore the Acanti Skunkworks, they soon find themselves entangled in a conspiracy that has connections to the deaths of Rachel Grey's family! Can the X-Men hope to stop an alien horde? And does Brand know more about the Genespliced than she's letting on? No library descriptions found. |

It had some good fighting scenes and I always love me some Rachel scenes. I'm still loving this team of X-Women and how they kick ass. They are on board SWORD with Abigail, who I love seeing, especially without beast around.
This was an easy and fast read. ( )
