Laura is in the second half of Grade 6 when she buys a cap that says "Pig City". From this one action an ongoing battle breaks out between her classmates as one club "Pig City" wages war on members of the other club "Monkey Town", and all from the little action of one jealous girl changing the words in a note a boy Gabriel passes to Laura. This is a book about misunderstandings, budding romance, loads of pranks and the madness that accompanies the end of Grade 6! A nice little story about truth and friendship from the author of Holes.

I used to love this book! I actually remember reading this with my childhood friend, we would sit on a bench and read alternating chapters to each other... It is such a funny, yet interesting book. ( )
