The God Eaters by Jesse Hajicek. This is a strange one - it's a gay romance set in a Western-flavored fantasy world with incarnated gods and people with psychic powers. So far I'm enjoying it a lot.

I agree on the Swordspoint and the sequel The Fall Of the Kings by Ellen Kushner. I would also recommend God Eaters by Jesse Hajicek. Lovely fantasy with a sweet m/m romance. Lord John and the Private Matter is only tenuously related to fantasy by way of the timetraveling Outlande ...

The most recent 'queer' novel I've read is a fantasy: The God Eaters by Jesse Hajicek. A fantasy adventure with a m/m romance. Very good. Almost as good as Ellen Kushner's Swordspoint and The Fall of the Kings.
