Giant heavy book, and because it covers the whole of western Europe, is not really detailed enough about any of it. That's the trade off, though, for not needing to buy 15 other books. ( )

Really useful, Lonely Planet doesn't let any traveller down. Came to good use on a 6.000 km drive through Europe in April 2005. ( )
