This installment of the story of Mary, Frank, Michael, Paul, and Helene was riveting. I could not put it down, I could not wait to see what happened next! In the prior book, Summer, I commented that there were abrupt changes in topic that were hard to follow sometimes, that was not the case in Autumn. The story line flowed logically and at a good pace, with enough detail to envision scenarios, but not so much as to detract from the actions. I really enjoyed this episode, and look forward to reading the next. ( )
